Reykjavik , winner of the Winter Championship (Listed, 1600m) at this track in June, who was having his second run this preparation, scored a good win here.

He settled in third place on the rails from his inside barrier (1), moved up to the leader (Streets Of Avalon) at the 300m, went to the front at the 200m and then fought off challengers to score narrowly but well.

Admiral's Joker , settled in last place in the 12-runner field, switched deep on turning for home and then ran on well for (long head) second.

Noble Boy raced in second last place, saved ground on the rails on turning for home, was in a challenging position at the 200m and then fought on nicely for a close-up third.

Iconoclasm enjoyed a good run in fourth place, one out and one back, improved nearing 300m and then battled on for (1.6 lengths) fourth.
