Miss Fabulass wins The Spirit Of Boom Classic, Listed, $125,000 at Doomben, 1200m.

Improved by two runs from a spell, the superbly bred mare Miss Fabulass staged a very good performance in winning here. She settled well back in third last place in the 16-horse field, tracking a quick pace.

She was taken deep on straightening and responded with a strong late bid to grab victory nearing the post. Improvement raced in eighth spot, eased deep shortly after turning for home and kept running on well to take second, beaten a short neck.

Jadentom settled in fourth place on the rails, improved on straightening, briefly hit the front in the closing stages and then held on for a close-up third.

The favourite Spirit's Choice showed her customary pace and led the field clearly at a quick tempo and only faded in the closing stages for (1.1 lengths) fourth after running a bold race.
