Former Godolphin-raced gelding Morton's Fork broke through for his first win since August 2018 in taking out this stakes race in good style.

Having his seventh start since resuming for new trainer Richard Litt, he settled back in fifth place, one off the rails, tracking quite a good tempo before improving nicely rounding the home turn.

He hit the front on passing the 200m and then went on to score comfortably, running the 2400m out well.

Chris Waller-trained import High Bridge settled back in seventh place, went deep on turning for home and then kept running on to take second without threatening the winner.

The favourite Miss Moana soon went to the front and then travelled comfortably at a sound pace.

She still held the lead nearing the 200m and then fought back quite well for third with Emperor's Way plugging on well from sixth at the home turn to finish (3.4 lengths) fourth.
