RACE 1

1st Pick: BLITZ POWER (2) Nice run first-up from a spell. Tackles similar opposition and will prove hard to hold off when she launches in home straight.
2nd Pick: STARDICE (3) In his element. Ignore last run when he returned with an irregular heart rhythm. Trainer Saimee Jumaat would love at least one win before he bows out next week.
3rd Pick: STAR FIFTYTWO (12) Shed maiden status at ninth start when switched to turf, and with no headgear on. Trainer reverts him to Polytrack and adds blinkers back on. Take on trust.
4th Pick: ALLEGRO (1) Drops back in Class 5 after two unsuccessful tries in Class 4. Marble one. Prefers longer but may sneak in for a place.

RACE 2

1st Pick: DAY APPROACH (2) Has done nothing wrong in two starts. Just found one better on both occasions. Steps up in trip to 1400m and has unfortunately drawn a horror gate. May have to be ridden for luck further back, but still remains a solid proposition.
2nd Pick: TIGER ROAR (12) Day Approach's stablemate looks the next best. Debut third to Be You and has trialled nicely since. Has improved since and should be included in calculations.
3rd Pick: ORACLE (8) Bolted in by more than 14 lengths at his barrier trial on September 10. Has drawn an alley. If he shows the same barrier trial form at his debut, he will be a big source of worry to the two above.
4th Pick: MARINE VANGUARD (7) Has done nothing wrong in two starts. Will strip fitter for this and the additional 200m won't harm him. To consider for your multiples.

RACE 3

1st Pick: KING MIDAS (1) On the quick back-up. Ran a nice third to Blue Blood last Saturday. Speedy sort who can take up the running in this. If he can overcome his wide alley, he will be hard to catch.
2nd Pick: SHOWBOUND (2) Ran below expectations at his last start. In-form jockey Ruan Maia takes over this time. Has drawn gate No 1, and will be in the firing line for a long way.
3rd Pick: JACKSA (11) Gives the impression he needs more ground. The 1200m is more up his alley. Louis-Philippe Beuzelin sticks to him. Getting closer to his peak.
4th Pick: TIGER LEAP (9) Debutant who has put in some decent barrier trials, winning one on August 27. Looks fit and ready for first race. Keep safe.

RACE 4

1st Pick: PATTAYA (9) Won his Restricted Maiden in good style last time out and looks a strong chance to follow up here in handicap company for the first time.
2nd Pick: RISE OF EMPIRE (7) Good in defeat when last seen in action and can give the selection most to think about in this. Leading chance.
3rd Pick: KHARISMA (8) His last-start performance was a little disappointing on face value, but he is better than that and can show up well in this.
4th Pick: BAFFERT (2) Has a touch of class and would look the value play in this race for a yard in good form.

RACE 5

1st Pick: EASY SOUTH EAST (2) Trainer Daniel Meagher does not use Mohd Zaki all that often, and the fact he does here suggests he wanted a good judge of pace for this frontrunner. If he doesn't burn too much petrol to come across from his wide gate, he may go all the way.
2nd Pick: QIJI STAR (3) Turned in best run to-date at his racing comeback. Blinkers off. Warrants consideration in this moderate affair.
3rd Pick: MR SHOWMAN (1) Didn't do too badly on debut. First test on Polytrack, over which he won his two barrier trials. Expect him to make headway second-up.
4th Pick: LOVING BABE (4) Has not shown much in seven runs, but he is in good company with this bunch. Finally draws an inside barrier. Blinkers off. Improvement expected.

RACE 6

1st Pick: SUN GENERAL (3) Runner-up over slightly shorter last start and looked as if this trip would suit him now. Will go very close.
2nd Pick: SCOOTER (12) Better known as a Polytrack performer but has run well on turf and gets on great with A'Isisuhairi 'Harry' Kasim. Has trialled well and this is his bread and butter.
3rd Pick: RED RIDING WOOD (2) Not as well in at the weights this time around but is in good form and can be included in the multiples.
4th Pick: MIDDLE KINGDOM (6) Is finding winning hard, but is slipping down the weights and will surely find a race very soon. Can run well in this.

RACE 7

1st Pick: TUESDAY (8) Bolted up on debut when still very green and has shown signs in a recent trial that there is still more to come. The surface suits and the extra 100m should not pose any problems to him. He looks smart and can remain unbeaten after this. Horse to follow.
2nd Pick: INFINITE WISDOM (7) Won well on his debut on the turf and clearly has a decent amount of talent. He is the biggest danger to the top pick and is another to certainly follow going forward.
3rd Pick: BRUTUS (5) Still yet to win but has been placed in good company at all seven starts to date. The form of his most recent runs is good and even though he is yet to win, he is a very strong contender in this handy novice event.
4th Pick: SATURDAY (1) A nice type who slightly lost his way a little in his last couple of starts. He is better than that form and won a trial leading into this race. One to include.

RACE 8

1st Pick: FIDDLESTICK (5) Doesn't win out of turn but his recent two seconds in a row suggest he has reached his peak. Live chance.
2nd Pick: RED ROAR (3) Scored gutsy win last time out. Seems to have trained on. From a better gate, he should get the run of the race. Commands respect.
3rd Pick: PHAXE (6) Gave a peek of some ability at his last start. Wide gate deters, but with Marc Lerner up, he can still stake a claim late.
4th Pick: SUPER TALENT (8) Unpredictable sort. Last run was average. A main contender if he brings his A-game to this race.

RACE 9

1st Pick: SUN HOLIDAY (1) Flew home for third at his debut over seven furlongs a fortnight ago. Will lap up extra 200m, even if he is switching to Polytrack. Trialled well on that surface. Horse to beat.
2nd Pick: CODIGOS (7) Improving with every run since racing resumed. Handles Polytrack very well. Drop in weight helps. Go close.
3rd Pick: SHOWCASE THE GOLD (2) Ran a much more encouraging race at his third outing. First Polytrack test is a query, though. Place claims.
4th Pick: NINETEEN GALE (10) Made some late ground at his last start, mostly passing some tired runners. Not the worst in this. Can inject some value to your exotics.

RACE 10

1st Pick: TOM CAT (7) Handy type who is suited by conditions and is in good form, so a bold show can be expected here.
2nd Pick: THOMAS DE LAGO (3) Racing very well at the moment on the back of a nice win last time out. Has continued to show all the right signs in his work and should figure highly in this affair.
3rd Pick: I AM SACRED (6) It is far too early to rule this fellow out after a below-par effort last time after winning on debut. From a powerful stable who can bring him back to form.
4th Pick: THE BROTHERHOOD (8) A must for the exotics judged on recent form. Each-way value.

RACE 11

1st Pick: GOLD COMPANY (7) Served notice of his current brilliant form with a fast-finishing third to Miraaj last time out. Scored over 2000m. Will be running on at business end.
2nd Pick: MILITARY CHAIRMAN (6) Hit the line strongly at his last run. Not a model of consistency but on latest form, he can take a hand in this.
3rd Pick: IRON FIST (12) Will stay all day. No weight on his back. Won't surprise if he punches his way into the mix.
4th Pick: ZOFFSPEED (2) Racing a fraction better with the blinkers on. First time over 1800m. Place claims look better.

RACE 12

1st Pick: FORESTO (6) An eye catching fifth last time out in a race where a few of these came through and this Lee Freedman-trained galloper looked as if he is ready to win another very soon and this could prove to be the race.
2nd Pick: GOLD CITY (4) Has trialled well and is certainly of interest in an open race like this one.
3rd Pick: TAKHI (11) Showed he stayed this trip last time with a sound second and if he repeats that performance here, he is a decent chance.
4th Pick: MCGREGOR (5) He is now a very well handicapped horse on old form but he isn't getting any younger and a place is maybe the best that can be hoped for here.

RACE 13

1st Pick: YULONG FAST STEED (9) Ran well behind Winning Hobby last time out and remains very interesting in this, a similar race. Well weighted and the complexion of the race should suit him nicely.
2nd Pick: UNCONQUERED (3) One of the better hopes on the pick of his best form and looks to be returning to form after a good run last time out. A must for the frame.
3rd Pick: TAX FREE (5) Big win on latest start and has looked good at the track in the morning. He may be up to his mark here but is worth including given he is in rude health.
4th Pick: WINNING HOBBY (4) The handicapper may not have been overly kind on the back of his victory last time and will find this a bit tougher. Place chance.

RACE 14

1st Pick: COUNT ME IN (1) A nice return to action since being gelded and can build on that here. Has some form tied in with Inferno and ranks as a leading chance in this finale.
2nd Pick: SILENT FORCE (2) Racing well and should give another good account of himself.
3rd Pick: SUPERLATIVE (7) Not the worst fifth-placed finish last time out and that performance shouldn't go unnoticed for a race like this. Can run very well.
4th Pick: STORMY VIEW (9) Will need to improve again on her maiden win last time but it's not beyond the realms for her to do so.
