Winning Trainer: Bjorn Baker
On the win: "It was a super result. She is a class mare. She's won 8 of 21 and a G2 on a wet track so I couldn't believe the price today not that I worry about that. Louise and Steve Gillard have been great owners of mine and it's great to see her back."
On last run: "I don't know what happened last time. But we've changed a few things back from the mile."
Back from the mile: "I was thinking it was like 1400m today anyway. It has worked out well. It's funny you don't quite know about a couple of things the last two weeks we've looked smart. It's a combination of luck and things falling into place which was the case today."
Next run: "There is a pretty good half a million dollar race in two weeks [Hot Danish] and I'll try to keep Josh on. I was in front of Les Bridge so it is funny how things work out. Might be a sign."
Winning Jockey: Josh Parr
On her return to form: "I was so confident going into the Angst but she over-raced and got her tongue over the bit. The tongue tie applied today, back to 1200m and a bit of rain around - it's all worked out perfectly for her."
On the race tactics: "I was very keen to be positive on her, especially coming from the 1600m to the 1200m. I needed her fitness to be her best asset. Racing on speed was vital.
"We got a nice clear run, nice clear air and she was brilliant."
Beaten Jockeys:
Nash Rawiller (Sweet Deal): "I thought she was very gallant in the conditions. Well before the corner, although she travelled she wasn't handling it. It was a pretty gallant run considering she wasn't handling it."
Jason Collett (Evalina): "Copped a lot of kick back. She didn't like it and wasn't able to finish it off."
Sam Clipperton (Jen Rules): "She doesn't show any speed in those conditions and we were no hope where we were positioned."
Regan Bayliss (Seasons): "She likes a bit of sting out of the ground but not that much. Her wheels started spinning from the 600m onwards."
Tommy Berry (Wandabaa): "Honest, tough run."
Robbie Dolan (Blazing Miss): "It was too heavy for her. She has won on heavy before but in weaker company. I couldn't get her to travel today."
Rachel King (Athiri): "Huge run. She is just so tough. She didn't enjoy that track at all but doesn't know how to run a bad race."
Tom Sherry (Tricky Gal): "Ran really well. Hope to get another one with her."
Tim Clark (Insensata): "She ran OK considering she was first up."
