Jessica Eaton has announced that she will stay in SA after she completes her apprenticeship in March scored her thirty-third winner for the season when she guided Saasmit to a win in the 1000 metre opening event at Murray Bridge on Saturday.

Coming out of the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace stable at Caulfield Saasmit  was worse than midfield before coming with a late run to record her first win at her first start.

Outlaws Revenge  continued his good form when he took out the 1200 metre second race.

Guided to victory by Dom Tourneur  the Ryan Balfour prepared Outlaws Revenge came from last with a late run and will now be spelled ahead of being prepared for three-year-old events later in the year.

Jockey Aaron Lynch made his trip over the border worthwhile when he rode Von Costa Glass  to a win in the 1800 metre third race.

Coming off a last start sixth at Morphettville and trained at Naracoorte by Sue and Jason Jaensch Von Costa Glass came from last with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Race goers who like omen chances were rewarded when Second Slip took out the 1200 metre fourth race.

A former New Zealander having his first start in Australia for trainer Will Clarken and with the services of Todd Pannell, Second Slip maintained a forward position throughout the event.

Victorian apprentice Alana Kelly brought up her first metropolitan win when she guided Can'tforgetyou to a win in the 1000 metre fifth race.

Resuming from a spell the Andrew Noblet prepared Can'tforgetyou led all the way.

Veteran Strathalbyn trainer Brian Mueller was well pleased with the win of Fabulous Flipper in the 1000 metre sixth race.

Guided to victory by apprentice Margaret Collett Fabulous Flipper came from a midfield position to bring up win number seven from thirty-eight starts.

Jockey Barend Vorster added another win to his outstanding record since coming to SA when he rode Renegade to a win in the 1400 metre seventh race.

Prepared at Angaston by Tony and Calvin McEvoy Renegade settled well and maintained a forward position throughout the event.

Trainer Will Clarken landed his second winner for the day when La Richesse took out race eight which was run over 1400 metres.

Giving former Victorian jockey Mitch Aitken his first SA winner, La Richesse led all the way.

Jessica Eaton landed her second winner for the day and the book-ends for the meeting when she rode Unlaced to victory in the 1600 metre final event.

Having its second Australian start the Michael Hickmott trained Unlaced led all the way and could be a likely prospect in the Adelaide Carnival which starts in March.
