A $15000 purchase Champagne Dreams gave joint trainers Wayne Francis and Glen Kent a win in the 1000 metre opening event at Morphettville on Saturday.

A graduate of the Magic Millions Yearling Sale in Adelaide the Kayla Crowther guided filly led all the way.

Jockey Kayla Crowther brought up an early double when she guided Virtue to a win in the 1000 metre second race.

Coming out of the Morphettville stable of Phillip Stokes Virtue showed plenty of pace when she led all the way.

Another front runner scored when Heir of Tavistock took out the 1550 metre third race for Mount Gambier trainer Richard Wilson and apprentice Will Price.

Jockey Kayla Crowther landed her third winner for the day when Stan the Cady was successful in the 2400 metre fourth race.

Being under the care of Will Clarken Stan the Caddy led all the way to bring up his fourth win from thirteen starts.

Mount Gambier based horseman Richard Wilson brought up a double when Load and go landed q win in the 1250 metre fifth race.

Having the services of apprentice Jacob Opperman Load and Go led all the way.

Racing first up after a spell Zoist continued the trend of front running winners when the Tony and Calvin McEvoy trained, Jessica Eaton ridden took out the 1400 metre sixth race.

Bordertown James Dodgson was well pleased with the win of his charge Territory Titan in the 1400 metre seventh race.

Having the services of Caitlin Jones, Territory Titan maintained a steady lead after settling fourth.

Kayla Crowther took her tally of winners to four for the day when she rode Neodium to victory in the 1400 metre eighth race.

Bringing up a double for the Phillip Stokes stable Neodium settled well and got to the front on the home turn, going on to register a comfortable win.

Appalachian broke the mould of the day when he came from near last to give hoop Paul Gatt and trainer Denis O'Leary victory in the final event which was run over 1000 metres.
