Morphettville Parks Races Review on 7th November 2021

The father and daughter training combination of Richard and Chantelle Jolly continued their good run when Rodeo took out the 1000 metre opening event on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.


Having the services of Jake Toeroek and coming off a last start fourth Rodeo  was well positioned throughout the event and beat stablemate Keep Reading .

A recent stakes winner Royal Mile c0ntinued his good run when he took out the 1550 metre second race.

Coming out of the Mount Gambier stable of Lee Creek and ridden by apprentice Jacob Opperman Royal Mile was well placed in bringing up his sixth win at his eleventh start.

The four-year-old Tequila Time returned to racing in fine fettle when he took out the 1000 metre third race.

Coming out of the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas stable the Jason Holder ridden Tequila Time raced one off the pace for the majority of the journey.

Jake Toeroek landed his second winner for the afternoon when he rode Chosen Blonde to a qin in the 1000 metre fourth race.

Coming out of the Chris Bieg stable Chosen Blonde came from a better than midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Port Augusta trainer Trevor Montgomerie landed his first city winner in a long time when Addictions took out the 1300 metre fifth race.

Guided to victory by Claudia Lions and coming off a last start third Addictions was not far off the pace for the 1300 metre journey.

The northern track of Port Augusta brought up successive winners when the Brenton Jones prepared Perfect Command took out the 1400 metre sixth race.

Ridden a perfect race by Barend Vorster Perfect Command came from a better than midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Jockey Todd Pannell returned to the winner's list after a series of outs when he guided the Red Sea to a win in the 2250 metre seventh race.

Prepared by Murray Bridge based mentor Grant Young The Red Sea led most of the way.

Li'l Hank brought up successive wins when he took out the 1400 metre eighth race.

Being under the care of Jordan Frew the Mitch Aitken ridden Li'l Hand came from last on the home turn with a strong run over the concluding stages.

The Gawler stable of Gary and Nichole Searle and Briana Callanan was well pleased with the win oof Tommy Blue in the 1250 metre final event.

Steered to victory by apprentice Gary Lo Tommy Blue was well served by the start and continued a forward run.
