More Joyous was among a number of autumn carnival contenders entered for Randwick barrier trials on Tuesday.

However the severe wet weather has forced the trials to be re scheduled for Friday. The Warwick farm trials originally programmed for Friday have been transferred to next Monday.

More Joyous is nominated for a 1050m heat that also includes her exciting Gai Waterhouse-trained stablemate Proisir, multiple G1 winner Danleigh and classy 3YO Ashokan.

Chris Waller's multiple G1 winner Shoot Out was entered for another 1050m heat against Victoria Derby winner Fiveandahalfstar, Steps In Time, Foreteller and the Waterhouse pair Landing and Urban Grove.

Waterhouse also has had her imported G1 winner Glencadam Gold and Wyong Cup winner Julienas entered for a 1200m heat.

The rain will also disrupt the preparations of some top autumn two-year-old contenders.

The juvenile entries featured Waterhouse's Breeders Plate winner Whittington, the Peter Moody-trained Gimcrack Stakes victor Brilliant Bisc and impressive winners Criterion, Never Can Tell and Regimental Pride.

Whittington has had almost a month since he won a trial at Randwick on January 4 while Brilliant Bisc started her push towards her autumn campaign with an impressive trial win at Rosehill last Tuesday.

Brilliant Bisc is set to resume in the Widden Stakes over 1100m at Rosehill on February 16.
