AFL premiers West Coast have delisted six players as part of their end-of-season clean out, with Luke Partington the unluckiest of the lot.

Partington, selected with pick No.28 in the 2015 national draft, and Malcolm Karpany were the biggest names to be delisted.

Tarir Bayok, Ryan Burrows, Callan England and Tony Olango were also shown the door, while Mark LeCras and Eric Mackenzie have retired.

With Scott Lycett securing a move to Port Adelaide via free agency, it means the Eagles will make nine list changes all up from their premiership season.

Partington notched six games for the Eagles last year, including the elimination final win over Port Adelaide.

The 21-year-old tied for East Perth's best and fairest award in the WAFL this season, but it wasn't enough to save him.

Karpany booted three goals from 17 disposals in the round 15 win over the Bulldogs last year.

But the No.31 pick from the 2013 draft battled a knee problem this year and could only manage 10 WAFL games.

Olango hit the headlines for the wrong reasons in August when it was revealed he was facing an assault charge stemming from an alleged incident in Darwin that occurred the day before he was drafted last November.

His delisting leaves West Coast light on for ruck depth.

Lycett's departure and Nic Naitanui's knee injury means West Coast need to bolster their ruck stocks.

The Eagles traded in former Saints ruckman Tom Hickey, and they could throw former Docker Zac Clarke a lifeline after the big man's star showings in the WAFL this year.

Think. Is this a bet you really want to place?
