Sydney originally dropped Daniel Menzel and the word from the west is that Elliott Yeo might join him on the sidelines for Sunday's AFL clash.

The star West Coast midfielder was not seen with his teammates at Perth airport on Friday as they flew to Sydney for the SCG clash.

Eagles great Glen Jakovich has also speculated on Perth radio that Yeo has a calf injury.

Captain Shannon Hurn is out with a hamstring injury and West Coast also lost Oscar Allen (ankle).

Tom Hickey and Josh Rotham have taken their places.

Menzel originally was out of the Swans lineup after only one game at his new club.

He played against his old side Geelong last weekend and was quiet, with seven possessions and a goal.

But minutes after they announced their final 22 on Friday afternoon, the Swans said that Will Hayward is a late out because of a calf injury and Menzel will keep his place in the team.

James Rose will play his first senior game this season and Jackson Thurlow also returns, while Robbie Fox has an ankle injury.

Think. Is this a bet you really want to place?
