After big defeats in their past two outings, GWS will be using Saturday's AFL round-23 trip to face Gold Coast as a chance to rediscover form before the finals.

GWS are out to regain some much-needed form before the AFL finals when they wrap up their regular season against Gold Coast on Saturday.

The Giants head to Queensland after back-to-back beltings which have dented confidence just at the wrong time of the year.

The last-placed Suns however, who have lost 17 straight and already have this year's wooden spoon sewn up, offer the Giants a chance to stop the rot.

"We've just got to get back to what we know we're good at and that's our contested work," forward Daniel Lloyd told AAP.

"Just get a bit of flow going before we go into finals. We're excited about the opportunity to get a bit of form back and we're looking forward to it."

Lloyd, who has missed the past three weeks due to a calf niggle, is one of six changes made by Giants coach Leon Cameron to face the Suns.

Jeremy Cameron returns to play his 150th game while ruck Shane Mumford, forward Jeremy Finlayson and defenders Sam Taylor and Isaac Cumming are the other inclusions for GWS.

"I definitely needed a couple of weeks off," Lloyd said.

"It was definitely in the back of my mind that I wanted to get back and play this game ... I'm just excited to get back out there and have a run around before we get into finals."

The six come in for injured trio Nick Haynes (throat), Toby Greene (calf) and Dawson Simpson (soreness) while Zach Sproule, Jye Caldwell and Jake Stein have been omitted.

The Suns have made just one change from the team which lost to Hawthorn last weekend in what will be Michael Rischitelli's last game before retirement.
