* 1992 grand final: West Coast 16.17 (113) bt Geelong 12.13 (85)
A fast-starting Geelong boot five goals to two in the opening term and hold their advantage to halftime when 12 points up. But the Eagles produce a monster third term, kicking 5.7 to 1.2 to take a 17-point three quarte-time lead. West Coast add another five goals to three in the final term to seal the club's first premiership. Peter Matera wins the Norm Smith medal, slotting 5.3 from a wing, teammate Brett Heady collects a game-high 28 disposals and Dean Kemp has 20 touches and six tackles. Geelong's Gary Ablett and Bill Brownless kick three goals apiece and decorated duo Paul Couch Mark Bairstow are main ball-winners with 25 and 23 disposals respectively.
* 1994 grand final: West Coast 20.23 (143) bt Geelong 8.15 (63)
The Cats hold a one-point lead at quarter-time but are then absolutely smashed by the free-wheeling Eagles, who boot 16.20 to 4.11 after the first break. The West Coast blitz is capped in the final quarter with eight goals to one as the club emphatically win their second premiership. Eagle Dean Kemp takes the Norm Smith medal with two goals among his 23 disposals, Don Pyke gathers 26 touches and Peter Sumich and Chris Waterman both boot four goals and Tony Evans kicks three. Geelong's Paul Couch is a standout for the losers with 21 disposals and 10 tackles and Bill Brownless kicks half of his side's goals.
* 2011 preliminary final: Geelong 17.15 (117) bt West Coast 10.9 (69)
The Cats live up to their status as hot favourites with a barnstorming display - they were never threatened from the get-go, kicking 5.7 to 2.3 in the opening term to lay the platform for a resounding win. Geelong's James Kelly plays a blinder with 29 disposals and seven inside 50s and teammates Joel Selwood (25 touches, eight clearances), Andrew Mackie (27 possessions, 11 marks) and James Podsiadly (three goals) are also brilliant. Eagle Beau Waters was a standout for the losers with a match-high 38 disposals and 11 marks while Daniel Kerr collects 30 touches and Josh Kennedy boots three goals.
