Three of the best games from Brownlow Medal winner Nat Fyfe's outstanding 2019 AFL season.
Nat Fyfe's best three performances in his Brownlow Medal-winning year:
ONE VOTE: Rd1 v North Melbourne - 32 disposals, one goal, 22 contested possessions, 10 clearances, eight inside-50s
Set the tone for a superb season with a starring role in a big first-up win for the Dockers, thumping a hapless North Melbourne by 82 points. Fyfe had plenty of help but was instrumental in Fremantle smashing their opponents at the contests.
TWO VOTES: Rd20 v Geelong - 27 disposals, two goals, 23 contested possessions, 11 clearances
A huge win in the context of the Dockers' season and one that owed plenty to Fyfe's colossal midfield performance. Matched up against the likes of Patrick Dangerfield and Tim Kelly, Fyfe's 23 contested possessions ensured the Dockers prevailed at Optus Stadium.
THREE VOTES: Rd21 v St Kilda - 35 disposals, two goals, 16 contested possessions, 11 inside-50s, seven clearances
Fyfe did everything in his power to drag the Dockers over the line in a wrenching three-point loss to the Saints at Marvel Stadium. It proved to be a hammer blow to Fremantle's finals hopes but Fyfe was huge in the clinches, polling maximum votes in a losing side.
