Another day, another AFL gong for Richmond star Dustin Martin.

He has won the Gary Ayres Medal for the second time in three years as the best player of the finals.

Tigers coach Damien Hardwick and GWS counterpart Leon Cameron awarded Martin the maximum 10 votes for his four-goal game in the grand final against the hapless Giants.

That gave him 19 votes for the finals series, six ahead of Giants onballer Tim Taranto.

Mr September also won the award when Richmond won the flag two years ago.

Martin had already won his second North Smith Medal as best afield in Saturday's grand final.

He is the only AFL player to play in two premierships, win two Norm Smiths and also take out the Brownlow.

Think. Is this a bet you really want to place?
