THE 2020 AFLW SEASON FIXTURE AT A GLANCE
* Four new teams: Richmond, St Kilda, West Coast, Gold Coast.
* Season expanded to eight home-and-away rounds with three weeks of finals, with two-conference system maintained:
Conference A - Adelaide, Geelong, North Melbourne, GWS, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Richmond.
Conference B - Carlton, Fremantle, Melbourne, Western Bulldogs, Collingwood, West Coast, St Kilda.
* Richmond and Carlton will open the season with a blockbuster clash at Ikon Park on Friday, February 7.
* Finals:
Week 1 - Second place in Conference A hosts a semifinal against third in Conference B and vice versa in the other semi, with top team from each conference receiving a bye.
Week 2 - The top team from each conference will host a preliminary final against semifinal winners.
Week 3 - Grand final to be held on Saturday, April 18, at home ground of highest-ranked preliminary final winner.
* Double-headers featuring AFLW and AFL teams:
Gold Coast v Brisbane at Metricon Stadium, Saturday February 22.
Collingwood v Western Bulldogs in Morwell, Sunday March 8.
GWS v Geelong at Giants Stadium, Saturday March 21.
