Greater Western Sydney, with Jesse Hogan kicking four goals, have thrashed Adelaide by 67 points in in their AFL clash at Adelaide Oval.

Jesse Hogan has made a triumphant four-goal AFL comeback as Greater Western Sydney hammered a lacklustre Adelaide by 67 points.

The Giants banked a third win in four games with their resounding 15.16 (106) to 4.15 (39) victory at Adelaide Oval.

Hogan's performance on debut for the Giants after stints at Melbourne and Fremantle delighted his new coach Leon Cameron.

"I am just rapt for him because he has been through some tough times and some challenging times," Cameron said.

"And we understand that he's going to have some ups and downs with his footy but today he should celebrate a good day - a good day for him and a good day for our footy club."

Hogan formed a dangerous forward line with fellow talls Harry Himmelberg (three goals) and Sam Reid, who booted two goals when stationed at full-forward because of a hamstring twinge.

The attacking trio feasted on supply from a dominant midfield led by best-afield Tim Taranto (34 disposals, seven clearances) and Jacob Hopper (30 possessions) while wingers Lachie Whitfield (30 touches) and Josh Kelly (27 disposals) were standouts.

And the Giants' defence was superb in shutting out the flat Crows, who barely offered a yelp in their third consecutive loss.

"That is unacceptable at AFL level," Adelaide coach Matthew Nicks said.

"They beat us up ... we didn't get in the ring today. At halftime, we hadn't actually put the gloves on."

The tide was rolling the Giants' way by halftime when they led by 32 points, despite losing Brent Daniels to a hamstring strain - his substitute Matt Buntine was later concussed and failed to see out the game.

GWS then enhanced their command in a ruthless second half, outscoring the Crows by nine goals to two - three of them to Hogan.

"No doubt, every game he plays, he's going to get better," Cameron said.

"His leading patterns and our connection is going to fluctuate at times.

"There were times when we messed it up early going forward. As the game went on, clearly we got a bit better connection."

The Giants allowed Adelaide just five marks inside their attacking 50m arc for the entire game, won clearances 41-17 and also won the contested ball count by 19.

"Today's performance on the road was a first-class performance from us," Cameron said.

"It gives you confidence and belief amongst the group."

Adelaide's Taylor Walker booted two goals but his side had no clear winner, though onballer Ben Keays (28 disposals), acting captain Tom Doedee (22 touches, nine marks) and Paul Seedsman (27 possessions) had patches of influence.
