Max King holds the AFL bragging rights over brother Ben but is determined not to let his twin even the ledger when Gold Coast host St Kilda.

Bragging rights will be on the line when St Kilda young gun Max King and Gold Coast's Ben King face off for just the second time in their careers.

The identical twins will be at opposite ends of the ground in Saturday's AFL clash at Metricon Stadium.

Ben has booted 20 goals in seven games while Max has 11 in six outings.

Both St Kilda and Gold Coast sit 3-4, adding extra spice to a contest that the Saints won by four points last year.

"It's always good, lining up against Ben," King said.

"We talk every week so this week won't be very different. I'm 1-0 in our games at the moment, so I've been reminding him of that a little bit.

"But (it's) always a good opportunity to play against each other."

King said the pair still spurred each other on, despite their different AFL homes.

"You always want to help each other and see each other do better," he said.

"That's no different now that we're at different clubs."

King said he had no plans to entice his brother to join him at the Saints.

"No I'm not quite in his ear. He's happy up there at the moment so I'll leave him (to) make his decisions for himself," he said.

King missed round one after being concussed by a stray golf ball - but said he'd comfortably bounced back.

He also relished the return of the ruck partnership between Paddy Ryder and Rowan Marshall.

"It frees me up a little bit, having another target down there," King said.

"Rowan's really worked on his forward craft and he's pretty handy forward down there, so it just adds another string to our bow."

King was on hand as the AFL announced attendances at Marvel Stadium, GMHBA Stadium and Mars Stadium would lift to 85 per cent capacity, in line with the MCG.

The league also confirmed that from round nine, Victorian reserved seat members could return to sitting in their allocated spaces.
