WARNER'S WOES

*Nov, 2020: Suffered a serious groin injury in an ODI at the SCG.

*Jan, 2021: Returned for the SCG Test against India but was still in obvious discomfort. A knock of 48 at the Gabba proved his best score of that series.

*May, 2021: Sensationally dropped and dumped as captain by Sunrisers Hyderabad, the franchise he led to an Indian Premier League title in 2016.

*May, 2021: Reunited with family, almost four weeks after the IPL was shutdown because of COVID-19 cases. Decided soon after to skip Australia's white-ball tours of the West Indies and Bangladesh.

*Sept, 2021: Recalled to the XI by the Sunrisers before being axed after scores of zero and two in the UAE.

*Oct, 2021: Linked up with Australia's T20 World Cup squad but failed to fire in either warm-up game.
