A draw seems the certain outcome at lunch on the final day of the women's Ashes Test at Taunton, with Australia 0-13 in their second innings, after England had declared in the morning session with a 145-run deficit.

With a draw being enough for Australia to retain the Ashes, England will hope the tourists set them a run chase later on Sunday's fourth day.

Resuming on 6-199, England pushed on to 275 before Jess Jonassen (2-50) trapped Laura Marsh (28) lbw, the ninth wicket to fall, leading skipper Heather Knight to call her team in.

Jonassen also denied Nat Sciver (88) a century when she chopped the ball onto her stumps, attempting to run a delivery down to third man.

Earlier, after hitting two early boundaries, showing the intent that was conspicuously absent on day three, Anya Shrubsole (11) became the fourth victim of debutant Sophie Molineux (4-95) when she charged down the wicket and was stumped.

Australia declared their first innings before lunch on day three after Ellyse Perry's 116 led them to 8-420.

Having won the three one-day internationals, Australia have six points out of a possible 16, meaning with a draw in Taunton, England could only split the series by winning the three T20 internationals to follow.
