Australia will face a hostile capacity crowd as they look to win the Women's Ashes series in the Twenty20 international at Chelmsford.

The Essex County headquarters has a claim to be the spiritual home of women's cricket in England, with the hosts unbeaten in 14 internationals at the venue.

A capacity crowd is expected at the ground on Friday where, if past experience is anything to go by, Meg Lanning's side will receive lots of unhelpful advice from over the ropes.

Having played in front of fairly sparse crowds thus far in the tour, Alyssa Healy is relishing the opportunity for the side to show off their talents to a larger crowd.

"Its a really big ground for the England team - they haven't lost here so for us it's a huge occasion and we're looking forward to it," Healy said.

"I've been a part of two teams that have come here and lost. The crowd are really supportive of the English side and get right behind them.

"It's a really cool place to play, you feel the crowd's right on top of you."

However Healy was confident her side could handle the extra scrutiny.

"It'll be a big occasion for them but for us we'll just keep rolling on with the way we've been playing and our T20 form over the last 18 months," she said.

Australia secured the Ashes with three wins in the one-day internationals and drew the Test match but want to ensure they win the series.

They allowed England to scramble to a drawn series by winning just two of the three Twenty20s in 2017/18.

"It's something we let ourselves down with in the Ashes back home and we're going to make sure that we rectify that and it obviously starts here," Healy said.

Think. Is this a bet you really want to place?
