AUSTRALIA v PAKISTAN, SECOND TEST, DAY 4:

Score: Australia 3(dec)-589 beat Pakistan 302 and 239.

Summary: Australia emphatically sweep the Test series 2-0 with an innings and 48 run victory to be forever linked with David Warner's epic 335 not out. The Australians were forced to toil on day four for the wickets of Shan Masood (68) and Asad Shafiq (57), but they fell in an eight-over span. The tourists lost their last six wickets for 116 runs.

Man of the moment: Nathan Lyon does what is expected and spins Australia to victory on a wearing pitch. Lyon claimed 5-69 in Pakistan's second innings - his 16th haul of five or more wickets in a Test innings - including five consecutive victims.

Key moment: Masood's dismissal. The elegant left-hander was scoring freely, with eight fours and a six, but on 68 he holed out to mid-off from Lyon's bowling and from then on it was curtains for the visitors.

Stat of the day: 489. The series average of Australian opener Warner, who made scores of 154 and 335no. The prolific scoring makes Warner's Ashes nightmare, when he averaged 9.5, a distant memory.

Quote of the day: "To win by an innings, two games in a row, is an exceptional effort by the boys." Warner, who is the player of the match and the player of the series.
