Chris Lynn has dusted off the quarantine cobwebs with an incredible century in Brisbane club cricket on Sunday that featured 20 sixes.

The Brisbane Heat captain, who didn't play a game after being picked up by the Mumbai Indians in the recent IPL, blasted 154 off 55 balls in a Twenty20 for club side Toombul on Sunday.

Back in Brisbane and out of quarantine, Lynn hit a staggering 20 sixes against the hapless Sunshine Coast attack in a timely reminder of his devastating power ahead of the Big Bash League season next month.

Former Test opener Matthew Renshaw, who has left the Heat for Adelaide this season, also made 55 off 29 at the top of the order as Toombul amassed 266 from their 20 overs.

Lynn was picked up by the Indians after long-time outfit Kolkata Knight Riders released him due to the six-hitter's hefty price tag.

But the 30-year-old sat on the bench behind fellow import Quinton de Koch as Mumbai won an unprecedented fifth title at the tournament, held in Dubai due to COVID-19.
