Harry Conway has been diagnosed with concussion and substituted out of the tour game between Australia A and India.
Concussed fast bowler Harry Conway has been substituted out of the pink-ball tour game between Australia A and India at the SCG.
Conway suffered a bouncer blow to the helmet on Friday night but was initially cleared to continue batting after the incident.
The paceman was assessed again at the end of Australia A's innings, having been run out in bizarre fashion, and reported symptoms.
Team management confirmed on Saturday that Conway will play no further part in the contest.
Mark Steketee has taken Conway's place in the hosts' XI as a concussion substitute.
Cameron Green has also been substituted out of the three-day match after being hit on the head while bowling on Friday.
Green was in line to make his Test debut next week at Adelaide Oval but is now a doubtful starter because of the concussion.
Will Pucovski, who suffered a concussion in the first of India's two tour games, has already been ruled out of the first Test.
