Rain puts NSW atop one-day ladder

3 minute read

Rain has washed out play between NSW and Western Australia, putting the Blues back on top of the domestic one-day competition ladder.

NSW have moved back to the top of the one-day domestic competition ladder after rain washed out their clash with Western Australia.

Sydney's wet weather meant a ball couldn't be bowled in Sunday's match at North Sydney Oval, with play abandoned in the mid-afternoon.

The result moves the Blues back ahead of Tasmania and into first place, while Western Australia are still fourth at the midway point of the tournament.

Each state plays each other once in this summer's shortened competition before the top two qualify for the final, with NSW and Tasmania to face off on Thursday.
