Georgia Redmayne was the star as Queensland picked up their first women's domestic cricket title with a comfortable win over Victoria.

A stunning unbeaten century by Georgia Redmayne has helped lift Queensland to their first WNCL title following a 112-run win over Victoria at Citipower Centre in St Kilda.

Already a standout batter in this season's competition alongside Victorian opponent Elyse Villani, Redmayne stood up again when it mattered most, clubbing 134 not out in her side's hefty 8-317.

It always looked like a tough target to chase down, and after initially falling behind the run rate and then losing a steady stream of wickets, the home side were eventually rolled for 205 off 42.4 overs.

It was a red-letter day for Redmayne, who cracked 15 boundaries in her 146-ball knock to log an imposing 531 runs at an average of 133 for the season.

That had come off the back of a lean 2019/20 where she made just 103 runs at an average of 15.

For the Fire, Mikayla Hinkley also chipped in with 53 and No.8 Meagan Dixon bolstered their total with a breezy 23 off just 12 balls.

Kim Garth was the standout bowler with 3-45, her Victorian teammates otherwise far too expensive.

Missing six representatives to the Australian squad for the New Zealand series, including Meg Lanning and Ellyse Perry, plenty then rested on the shoulders of Victoria's opener Villani.

With 593 runs for the tournament coming into the clash, she was just 37 runs shy of a season run-scoring record in the WNCL.

But it was not to be her day as she laboured to 18 off 45 balls before holing out to Georgia Prestwidge at deep midwicket off the bowling of Lilly Mills.

Annabel Sutherland (42) did her best after a surprise return from injury but even with Garth's 48 it was not nearly enough.

Grace Harris picked up 4-35 and Mills a tidy 3-36 from her 10 overs.

Victoria had earned the right to stage the decider in Melbourne by securing first position on the ladder, winning six from eight matches.
