The Melbourne Renegades have won the bat flip and will bat in the crucial Big Bash League derby against the Melbourne Stars at Marvel Stadium.

The two Melbourne teams are at the bottom of the BBL ladder and are coming off losses.

Marcus Stoinis (back) and Nathan Coulter-Nile (hamstring) aren't playing but the Stars are far stronger than the COVID-19 ravaged line-up that lost to the Renegades earlier this month.
