Australia have collapsed for a third-straight Test in India, losing 6-11 in 30 minutes in Indore.
A LOOK AT AUSTRALIA'S COLLAPSES DURING THE 2023 TOUR OF INDIA:-
* Nagpur
Australia were never in the contest in the Border-Gavaskar series opener. Trailing by 223 after the first innings, the tourists crumbled for just 91 - their lowest Test total in India. Australia were 1-26, then lost 9-65 as star spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin weaved their magic to secure an innings and 132-run win for the hosts.
* Delhi
An even more disappointing and catastrophic collapse than in Nagpur. Australia were genuinely in a winning position in the second Test, but outdid themselves amid a flurry of sweeps and slogs on a turning pitch. Australia led by 66 with nine wickets in hand, but lost 9-48 in 90 minutes to go from 1-65 to 113 all out in a truly baffling display. Jadeja and Ashwin again bowled brilliantly on a difficult pitch, but the manner in which Australia lost their wickets prompted a barrage of criticism from commentators across the globe.
* Indore
Australia survived the opening hour of play on day two of the third Test. Peter Handscomb and Cameron Green played smart and sensibly, slowly building the tourists' lead on a raging turner of a pitch. But the drinks break led to Australia going from 4-186 to 197 all out, losing 6-11 in 30 minutes. Australia's tail was badly exposed again as their bowlers were dismissed in a hurry. India's lower-order has saved the hosts from trouble numerous times, giving them a giant advantage over Australia in this series.
