A group of bikies are facing court after being charged with a range of serious offences including threats to kill.

Seven members of the Finks outlaw motorcycle gang are facing serious charges following a string of arrests across Melbourne.

Five men and two women have been charged with a range of offences between them, including threats to kill, assault and for burglary.

Police raided the bikie members' properties on Thursday following an investigation into the Australian gang, relating to drug trafficking, an alleged aggravated burglary in Hampton Park on September 9, and an affray in Kew on July 13.

Detectives from Echo Taskforce - the Victoria Police unit devoted to criminal bikie activity - carried out arrest warrants in Glenroy, Carrum Downs, Frankston, Mickleham, Highett, Truganina, Hampton Park and Cranbourne West.

Police seized a number of items from the properties including a firearm, ammunition, other weapons and drugs.

Most of the group faced court today and were bailed to appear in court again early next year.

A man and woman facing more serious charges are scheduled to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday night.

The seven arrests follow those of a 33-year-old man in Frankston on September 12 and 43-year-old SA man on September 25.

They were both charged with a range of offences including threats to kill and unlawful assault and will face court in January.

Meanwhile, in Adelaide, police have charged five people with drug trafficking in connection with the Finks gang.

Three men and two women were arrested after police found drugs and stolen vehicles at several properties.

Police will allege the five were working together to traffic methamphetamine and cocaine.
