Australian Lauren Parker has scored a dominant win in the World Paratriathlon Grand Final in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The 31-year-old from Newcastle finished more than two minutes clear of second-placed American Kendall Gretsch with a time of 1hr 18min 48sec.
Previously an accomplished triathlete, Parker transitioned to paratriathlon after a serious training accident in 2017.
On Sunday she claimed her biggest win as she built a handy lead on the opening swim leg and was never headed on the bike and run sections.
"I can't even put into words how I'm feeling, I'm just so happy," Parker said.
"The whole day went my way starting off from a great swim. I felt great on the bike and great on the run as well."
Defending the world title, countrywoman Emily Tapp finished sixth.
