Time running out at Pipe Masters

3 minute read

Three Australian surfers are in action at the Pipe Masters, which has been delayed yet again.

Time is running out for Australian surfers Julian Wilson, Jack Freestone and Soli Bailey at the Pipe Masters in Hawaii.

The Aussies have reached the last 16 of the season-ending tournament in Oahu, which has been delayed yet again due to small swell.

There are now only two days left in the men's Championship Tour holding period, with organisers at Pipeline set to make the next call on Thursday (Friday 4.30am AEDT).

"Another small day of surf here at Pipe lacking quality, so we are calling the competition off for the day," said Renato Hickel, WSL Tours and Competition.

"We will have another call tomorrow at 7.30am. HST for a possible 8am start. Two remaining days in the window. Out of the two, Thursday being the best, so a great chance of finishing the event tomorrow."

Think. Is this a bet you really want to place?
