Two games of Super Netball will be played in Far North Queensland, with Cairns and Townsville to host for the first time.

The league announced that two matches between rounds 10-14 will be played in those cities, which is a move away from the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Hub locations.

Super Netball says it will confirm which teams will be involved and when in the coming weeks.

Chief executive Chris Symington said the league is thrilled to be bringing matches to Cairns and Townsville.

"We know there are lots of Super Netball fans right throughout North Queensland so we're excited that the 2020 season has provided the opportunity to bring games to the region," Symington said on Saturday.

"We look forward to confirming the details of these matches and associated community activity in the very near future."
