Eagles centre cops NRL fine for tripping

3 minute read

Manly centre Brad Parker has been charged with a trip on St George Illawarra's Euan Aitken in their NRL game in Wollongong and fined $1500.

Manly centre Brad Parker has been fined $1500 for tripping in the club's controversial NRL loss to St George Illawarra on Saturday.

Parker can accept a reduced fine if he takes the early guilty plea for sticking his leg out on Dragons counterpart Euan Aitken late in the second half.

The 75th-minute incident resulted in the Dragons getting a penalty shot, however, it was missed by Tim Lafai before the hosts' Mikaele Ravalawa scored a match-winning try.
