South Sydney and England prop George Burgess is unsure whether he will see out his NRL career as a one club player at South Sydney.

South Sydney prop George Burgess appears resigned to leaving Redfern and breaking up the brotherhood.

Before the start of the season Burgess turned down a three-year offer from Parramatta, saying he wasn't interested in playing for another NRL club but on Wednesday he sounded more open to moving on.

"It'd be nice to keep playing with my brothers (Sam and Tom) but we don't live a perfect life and all good things come to an end," the England international said.

Former Rabbitohs coach Anthony Seibold is reportedly interested in luring Burgess north, and while the burly twin stated his preference was to stay under Wayne Bennett, he didn't rule out a move to the Broncos.

"Maybe. Maybe not," he said.

"I really don't know - I'm just trying not to think about it too much.

"I'm just focused on playing and that (the future) will take care of itself."

He ruled out an early retirement, saying he still had a passion for the game and his body was up to it.

"My body is feeling good. I'm 27 and feeling pretty fit," he said.

"I love footy. It's my passion and still enjoy turning up to training and trying to get better I will keep doing it for as long as I can.

"As long as I enjoy playing, I'll keep playing."

Souths had an injury scare at training on Wednesday with halfback Adam Reynolds failing to finish the session.

Burgess told The Daily Telegraph that Reynolds had "pulled something".

It would be a blow for the second-placed Rabbitohs as they head to Canberra on Saturday night to take on the Raiders, who sit fourth.

Burgess expected it would be a tough match, with the fixture dubbed the "Battle of Britain" with the large contingent of Brits in both line-ups.

"The Raiders are a great team and have been playing some great footy off the back of Josh Hodgson and some other Pommy lads there," Burgess said.
