Canterbury have secured Melbourne forward Joe Stimson on a three-year deal.

The 23-year-old will leave the Storm at the end of the current NRL season and move to Belmore until the end of the 2022 campaign.

The back-rower debuted for the Storm in 2017 and was part of Melbourne's grand final team last season.

Bulldogs coach Dean Pay said the former Storm under-20s captain brought big-game experience to the club's pack.

"We have a very young side in terms of age and NRL games, so to add someone with Joe's talent and winning attitude will be a big boost for us moving forward," Pay said.
