Queensland will look to replace extended squad member Edrick Lee after the Newcastle speedster succumbed to a leg strain.

The Maroons confirmed the Newcastle flyer had been ruled out of their camp for Sunday's State of Origin II in Perth after consultation between the Knights and Queensland medical staff.

Lee was poised to take part in the Maroons camp this week after being named as their 19th man on Sunday night.

However, Lee has now become Queensland's latest injury victim, joining forwards Jai Arrow (ankle) and Joe Ofahengaue (knee) on the sidelines.
