3 minute read

A date has been set for the the Sydney Roosters' World Club Challenge against St Helens.

NRL champions Sydney Roosters will play Super League winners St Helens in the World Club Challenge in England on February 22.

The Roosters beat Wigan at the DW Stadium earlier this year to maintain their unbeaten record, having won all four WCC appearances including one against St Helens at Bolton in 2003.

It will be St Helens' first World Club Challenge since 2015 - their sixth overall - and their fourth competitive fixture under new coach Kristian Woolf.

The match will played at The Totally Wicked Stadium in St Helens on Saturday, February 22, with a 7.45pm (6.45am Sunday AEDT) kick-off.

It means Saints' round four Super League home game against Catalans Dragons, scheduled for Friday, February 21, will have to be rearranged.
