Parramatta forward Nathan Brown could be suspended for two NRL games after being charged for a careless high tackle in the game against Sydney Roosters.

Parramatta enforcer Nathan Brown is poised to miss two NRL games for a grade two careless high tackle on Sydney Roosters lock Victor Radley on Saturday night.

It comes just a fortnight after Brown returned to the field from a two-week suspension for dangerous conduct in round two.

Brown was one of the Eels' best in their 24-10 loss to the NRL premiers at Bankwest Stadium, but in the 64th minute his aggression bubbled over with a high shot on Radley that sparked a melee.

If he is found guilty, it will mean Brown will miss four of eight matches for Parramatta so far this season through suspension.

"He's a really good player, he's just got to temper that aggression (a little bit)," former Cronulla captain Paul Gallen said on Nine Network on Sunday.

"He's established himself as a first-grader, but he doesn't need to go out and whack blokes in the head.

"He just needs to take the edge of it a little bit."

Roosters lock Radley has been issued with a fine for a high hit on Eels captain Clint Gutherson from the same match.

St George Illawarra's Jordan Pereira is facing a two-week stint on the sidelines with an early plea for a grade three careless high tackle on Corey Thompson in Saturday's win over the Gold Coast.

Should the Dragons winger fight the charge at the judiciary he risks a three-week ban if he is unsuccessful.

Meanwhile, Wests Tigers duo Harry Grant and Sam McIntyre will escape suspension with early guilty pleas for grade one dangerous contact charges stemming from Saturday's win over North Queensland.

Their teammate Josh Aloiai has been fined for contrary conduct.
