Bulldogs name trio to NRL club's board

Canterbury have named three new directors to the NRL club's board after the exit of a trio, including chairwoman Lynne Anderson, earlier this month.

Canterbury have announced the appointment of three new directors to the NRL club's board after the departure of a trio, including chairwoman Lynne Anderson, earlier this month.

Anderson, along with premiership winner Paul Dunn and John Ballesty, stood down after a fan-led campaign to oust them at the start of October.

On Friday, Jim Koutsouklakis, Andrew Gifford and Peter McMahon were named to fill the vacancies.

They join existing board members Joe Thomas, John Khoury, Adrian Turner and Peter Mortimer.

New chairman Khoury said the appointments would allow Canterbury to move on from their recent boardroom turmoil.

"Each will bring a fresh energy and individual skill-set and, most importantly, a real passion for the Bulldogs," Khoury said.

"We are now settled as a board and can look forward to making sure that the club is in a strong position heading into the pre-season and beyond."
