* Key moment: Jahrome Hughes regathered his own bomb, weaved and flicked a pass to Suliasi Vunivalu, who carried the ball one-handed down the sideline and beat three would-be tacklers to score the Storm's third try inside the first 10 minutes.

* Key stat: Cameron Smith has won the past 12 times he's played at Suncorp Stadium for club, state and country while the Storm have won 21 of their past 25 games at the ground since 2004.
