COREY ALLAN - Fumbled a bomb for NSW's first try and looked nervy in attack, but was not put under much pressure by the Blues in his Origin debut. Was binned late for a professional foul. 6

VALENTINE HOLMES - Scored the first try for the Maroons and left at least two out there, but was a constant threat on the edge. 6

DANE GAGAI - Had a quiet night by his own lofty Origin standards but was still busy with the ball in hand with 122 metres and three tackle breaks. 6.5

BRENKO LEE - Had a solid night in the centres and combined well with his cousin for Edrick Lee's try on debut. Took an early shower after suffering a calf injury. 5

EDRICK LEE - Caught the tip-on from Brenko Lee to score on debut for the Maroons and was an aerial threat but did not see much ball. Saved a late try with a ripping tackle on Daniel Tupou. 7

CAMERON MUNSTER - Was far and away the best player on the field. Was impossible to handle for NSW and put in some brilliant kicks which led to Queensland's second try. 9.5

DALY CHERRY-EVANS - Steadied the ship while Munster did his thing. Directed traffic and kept the pressure on the NSW line while staying solid in defence. 8

CHRISTIAN WELCH - Played only 37 minutes and churned through 64 metres, a try-assist, a line-break assist and 29 tackles. 7.5

JAKE FRIEND - Was nippy around the ruck and brave in defence as usual. A tough performance rounded off a solid debut Origin series. 7

JOSH PAPALII - After a disappointing game two, the Canberra prop rose to the occasion at Suncorp Stadium and was a weapon in defence, putting a target on Nathan Cleary and running at him all night. 8

KURT CAPEWELL - Started in the second row and ended up in the centres after Brenko Lee was sidelined. Once again was solid playing out of position. 7

FELISE KAUFUSI - Was lucky not to be sin-binned late in the game for a professional foul and gave away two penalties elsewhere. 6

TINO FA'ASUAMALEAUI - Was more subdued than his explosive performance in Sydney in game two but still finished with 135 running metres and did not miss a tackle. 8

JAYDN SU'A - Came into the second row for just 13 minutes and did not have enough time to make an impact. 4

HARRY GRANT - Changed the game from the bench with his darting runs through centre field. A starring Origin debut with a try to cap it off. 9

LINDSAY COLLINS - Had a monster stint from the bench with 148 metres in 41 minutes. Helped dominate the NSW pack. 8

JAI ARROW - Was involved in the hit that wiped out James Tedesco and had an ugly moment afterwards when he slammed the concussed fullback into the turf. Otherwise was a danger with 75 running metres in his 36-minute stint. 7
