South Sydney halfback Adam Reynolds has revealed he sees Brisbane as an "appealing" option for next season as he hits the NRL market for a long-term deal.

Adam Reynolds has labelled Brisbane an "appealing" option for next year as the premiership-winning halfback starts his search for life after South Sydney.

Reynolds sent another reminder of his long-term value in Thursday night's 35-6 win over Brisbane, playing a role in four tries to go with his two-point field goal.

There is no doubt Reynolds would be a significant acquisition for the Broncos, after again being told by the Rabbitohs he'd only receive a one-year offer.

Broncos coach Kevin Walters hinted his interest after Thursday's match, calling him the best kicker in the game while also lamenting his own team's poor last-tackle options.

And while Brisbane have struggled in recent years, their halves has been part of the problem given the potential of their forward pack to lay a platform.

"I see them pretty similar to Souths," Reynolds said.

"They're a passionate supporter base. They're obviously a big club. They've been a powerhouse for a number of years.

"It's obviously appealing.

"Obviously they're not travelling too well at the moment but they've got a lot of future stars in that side."

Walters also stated he was already well aware of Reynolds' value, but would let the dust settle at Souths before considering an advance.

Brisbane have Anthony Milford off-contract for next year, with Walters admitting during the week he wasn't playing well enough to earn another deal.

Tom Dearden is still not being used as an 80-minute halfback, while Brodie Croft has also been benched after starting the season at No.7.

Meanwhile North Queensland have already flagged their interest in the 30-year-old and that would have no doubt increased following Michael Morgan's retirement on Friday.

A move to either club would require Reynolds family, comprising of four daughters, to leave Sydney for the first time.

"I think I have to (consider it)," Reynolds said.

"Like I've said numerous times, I've got a young family. I'm looking for a bit of that security and I'll toss up all options and see what's out there.

"I'll sit down with the family and go over the plan. It's a long way from happening yet."

Reynolds also isn't completely resigned to leaving Souths, willing to look at their offer after considering others.

It's also not out of the question that he could link with coach Wayne Bennett again in the future, who also departs Souths this year.

Bennett is known to be interested in coaching the NRL's proposed 17th team in Brisbane in 2023, where Reynolds could theoretically land after a Souths swansong next year.

"I love the relationship we have. We know his situation, obviously it's a few years away," Reynolds said.
