Wests Tigers have signed New Zealand international Ken Maumalo, after he was granted an immediate release from the final year of his contract with the Warriors.

The winger has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal that will see him feature in Wests Tigers colours for at least the 2021, 2022 and 2023 NRL seasons.

Maumalo has played 105 games for the Trans-Tasman outfit and has made 13 international appearances - nine of which have been under Kiwis and Tigers coach Michael Maguire.

Maguire said Maumalo would add a lot to their squad.

"I've worked closely with Ken over a number of years now at international level and it's great to see him now join Wests Tigers," he said.

Think. Is this a bet you really want to place?
