Under-fire Wests Tigers boss Michael Maguire has made big changes to his side as they face Parramatta on Easter Monday looking for their first win of the NRL season.

Fighting for his future, Maguire has dropped New Zealand international Ken Maumalo along with English import Oliver Gildart and hooker Jacob Liddle.

Their places have been taken by Starford To'a, James Roberts and Jake Simpkin respectively, while Jackson Hastings returns from suspension to play at halfback with Luke Brooks in the five-eighth role and Jock Madden going to the bench.

The Eels have brought in Oregon Kaufusi for suspended prop Junior Paulo and moved Marata Niukore to centre, with Will Penisini replacing the injured Waqa Blake on the wing.

Canberra have included Xavier Savage on their bench for the game against North Queensland for his first NRL game of the year.

Savage has been turning heads in reserve grade and edges out Matt Frawley as the Cowboys roll into town.

Todd Payten's side have Coen Hess back for Thursday's trip to the ACT.

As expected, Blake Taaffe takes South Sydney's No.1 jersey at the expense of Latrell Mitchell for their Good Friday game against an unchanged Canterbury.

Penrith have made no changes as they face Brisbane, with the Broncos moving Corey Jensen to prop at the expense of the suspended Payne Haas.

Manly speedster Tolutau Koula edges out Morgan Harper to play centre against Gold Coast on Saturday. The Titans have Brian Kelly in the centres, with Corey Thompson dropping out of the side.

Melbourne and Cronulla have both made changes to their benches with Tyran Wishart and Aiden Tolman in for their respective sides.

On Easter Sunday, Sam Verrills returns from a hand injury for the Sydney Roosters as they take on a Warriors side with Dallin Watene-Zelezniak back on deck.

St George Illawarra have brought in Josh McGuire following the completion of his suspension, with Newcastle boosted by the inclusion of David Klemmer.
