3 minute read

Star winger Sevu Reece has extended his New Zealand Rugby contract until 2022 after a breakthrough season with the Crusaders and All Blacks.

Exciting All Blacks winger Sevu Reece has committed to New Zealand rugby and the Crusaders for two more seasons following his breakthrough deeds of 2019.

Reece extended his NZ Rugby deal until 2022, matching the contract length of his Super Rugby teammates George Bridge and Will Jordan.

The trio are regarded as among the brightest talents of New Zealand's outside backs, with Reece and Bridge having established themselves as first-choice Test wings last year.

Reece's pace and elusive running helped him to a competition-high 15 tries for the champion Crusaders in his debut season.

The 22-year-old scored four tries in his first seven Tests, including two at the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
