Supercars chairman Peter Wiggs, Virgin Blue co-founder Brett Godfrey and former Wallaby Daniel Herbert will fill Rugby Australia board vacancies.
With the nominations' process completed on Monday, a notice was issued to members confirming the trio would take up their posts at the March 30 annual general meeting.
Godfrey and Herbert are both board-appointed positions, while Wiggs' role is as a member-elected director.
Wiggs or Godfrey are set to take over as RA chairman, a position filled until last month by Cameron Clyne.
Clyne stood down, with ex-Wallaby Paul McLean filling the breach while the incoming chairman transitioned into the role.
Wiggs is chairman of Supercars, airport services company AeroCare and the founder of private equity firm Archer Capital.
Godfrey was chief executive of Virgin Blue until 2010. Among other roles, he is chairman of the Tasmanian AFL Taskforce.
World Cup-winning Herbert will fill a former player position on the board, replacing Brett Robinson.
With Ann Sherry also standing down last year, the nominations leave Pip Marlow as the only female non-executive director on the board, alongside chief executive Raelene Castle.
