Skipper Rob Simmons will return from injury for the NSW Waratahs' Super Rugby AU clash with the Western Force on the Gold Coast on Friday night.

Simmons broke a rib three weeks ago but is good to go again after being a late scratching from last Saturday's record 45-12 win over the Queensland Reds.

He takes over the captaincy from Wallabies leader Michael Hooper.
