AS A PLAYER:

Joined Melbourne Victory as inaugural captain in 2005 after a successful stint abroad at Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton and Rangers.

TROPHIES:

* 2006/07 A-League premiership and championship

* 2008/09 A-League premiership and championship

RECORD:

* Played for six A-League seasons before retiring, tallying 138 matches in all competitions and scoring 34 goals

* Was sent off five times, including an infamous tackle on Melbourne Heart's Adrian Zahra that ended Muscat's A-League career

* Three-time club champion and two-time PFA team of the season inclusion

* Named as centre back in the A-League team of the first decade

AS A COACH:

Muscat succeeded Ange Postecoglou as Victory coach in October 2013 after Postecoglou was appointed to lead the Socceroos.

TROPHIES:

* 2014/15 A-League premiership and championship

* 2015 FFA Cup

* 2017/18 A-League championship

RECORD:

* Coached Victory for five full A-League seasons

* Oversaw 214 matches in all competitions for 106 wins, 375 goals scored and 363 points

* Only Graham Arnold and Ernie Merrick have coached more A-League games than Muscat

* His A-League winning record of 50.5 per cent is only bettered by Arnold (55 per cent) Postecoglou (51)
