Perth Glory will feature a new-look defence after Shane Lowry joined Jason Davidson and Scott Neville out the door of the A-League club.

Perth Glory's defensive stocks have taken another major hit after Shane Lowry became the latest player to depart the A-League club.

Lowry was granted an early release so he could join Qatari club Al Ahli SC Doha.

The 30-year-old joins fellow defenders Jason Davidson and Scott Neville to have left the club, while Matthew Spiranovic still hasn't decided whether to return.

Centre back Dino Djulbic tore his ACL in the grand final loss to Sydney and may not be able to play next season.

"Winning the A-League premiership put all of our players firmly in the shop window as far as Asia's biggest and wealthiest clubs are concerned," Glory's football director Jacob Burns said.

"As a result, moves such as Shane's are to be expected but we have plans in place to cover these eventualities and ensure that we maintain a strong, deep squad capable of securing sustained success for this football club."

Lowry made 71 A-League appearances for Glory after arriving in 2015.

Glory have also lost striker Andy Keogh, who has taken up a deal in Saudi Arabia.

Earlier this week, Perth signed former Adelaide and Melbourne City defender Osama Malik on a three-year deal.
