Riley McGree, Nathaniel Atkinson, Lachie Wales, and Brandon Wilson have accepted their international bans over an incident with a woman earlier this year.

The four Olyroos caught up in a misdemeanour in Cambodia earlier this year have apologised for their actions and accepted their suspensions.

Adelaide United star Riley McGree, Melbourne City pair Nathaniel Atkinson and Lachie Wales, and Perth Glory midfielder Brandon Wilson were found guilty by FFA of unprofessional conduct following an incident with a woman while they were on Olyroos duties in April.

It's understood one of the players made contact with a woman on Tinder and invited her back to the team hotel.

The woman was reportedly aggrieved by how the night ended after being left stranded at the hotel, and later made a complaint.

Atkinson, Wales, and Wilson will miss the Olympics after accepting their international bans that run through to August 10 next year.

McGree, who was suspended from international duties until April 1, has also accepted his sanction.

"We accept that whilst our actions were not illegal or criminal in any way, our conduct still fell below the standards expected of us," the four players said in a statement.

"As such, we wish to apologise to the broader football community and to those impacted by our conduct.

"We hope the football community can accept our genuine remorse and give us all an opportunity to become great contributors to Australian football over the next decade."
